TV Games

Beer Madden:

This game was invented one night, while sitting around in a dorm room with a case of beer in the fridge, wondering what to do beside the obvious.

The rules are simple. You and another person take drinks depending on the outcome of a play during the Madden game (or any other football video game).

Drinks are as follows:

Offense makes positive yards = defense must drink

Offense loses yards = offense must drink

Offense has no gain of yardage = both sides drink

Penalty = drink the amount of yards against you

Scoring = drink the amount of points scored

Depending on your quarter length and how good you are this game can go through a lot of beer in a short time(ex. 2 beers per 5 min quarter). Oh, one last rule. All open beers must be chugged before the start of a new quarter. Have fun.

Arch Rivals

Football Drinking Game

Needed: beer, TV with game on, and 10-14 people. (must be even number)

First split people into two teams. One team is the home team and the other is the away team. Each player selects a person from the other team as the "Arch-Rival". Each person must select a STARTER on offense AND defense from their respective team. For example, if Detroit is playing at Tampa Bay, and you are Detroit, you would select an offensive starter from Detroit and a defensive starter from Detroit, as well. Kicker counts as an offensive player. Offensive linemen and punters are ineligible. Each time that your player "scores," your Arch-Rival drinks.

Scoring:

OFFENSE QB, RB, WR, TE (NOTE: thrower and catcher drink.)

TD = 1 beer

1st Down = 1 drink.

Kicker

XP = 3 drinks

FG = 1 beer

DEFENSE

tackle = 1 drink

sack = ½ beer

safety = 1 beer (+ ½ beer for sack)

turnover = ½ beer

touchdown = 1 beer (+ ½ for turnover)

RULE #1 (scrubs) If a player that was not picked by a drinker scores a touchdown, everyone drinks. That means if Joe Shmoe player runs a kickoff back for a TD, everyone drinks.

RULE #2 (injuries) If your player gets injured and has to leave the playing field, you must drink for every play that he misses. If your player gets injured, for the game. You must drink two beers and pick another player, usually his replacement. Although, if there is a certain player that is having a good game and available, you could select him to force more alcohol on your Arch-Rival.

RULE #3 (two minute warning) [optional, could get ugly] All drinks are doubled after the two minute warning.
